Job Description

A reputable law firm in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Manage e-filing in state and federal courts (including Georgia courts)
  • Maintain case files, both electronic and physical
  • Coordinate calendars, deadlines, court dates, and depositions
  • Assist with discovery, including document production and organization
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and assist with trial preparation
  • Track billable time and assist with expense reporting as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Georgia court rules and filing procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., iManage, Relativity, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and client-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a mid-to-large firm setting
  • Trial preparation experience highly desired

Work Environment:

  • Fully onsite role in Atlanta, GA

Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 DOE

Schedule: Full-time, onsite (5 days/week)
